Type 1-Derful 5K will provide support to children and teens living with diabetes.

Setebaid Services forges partnerships with physicians and diabetes educators to operate some of the most prestigious accredited diabetes camps in the country. We focus on the campers, children and teens living with diabetes, and recognize education is the key to improved health. This prevention model is a catalyst to learning, infusing medical professionals expertise, with certified diabetes educators’ and professional teachers’ educational psychology to improve how we teach youth to manage their diabetes. Our diabetes camps serve as the method to teach the youth while our volunteers remain key to improving the lives of the children and families we serve. Your support of this 5K enables these diabetes camps to continue serving hundreds of children annually.
